Tuesday 10th – Friday 13th October will be our ‘I Love to Read’ week. This is a great opportunity for our learners to engage more with literature; explore literary genres and book characters and join in book-related activities to increase their enthusiasm for reading. For our culminating day on Friday we invite all staff and learners to dress up as a book character of their choice. This can be a well-known character or an obscure character not heard of by many. It can be a character from a movie adapted from a book but must originally be a book character. We look forward to seeing the imagination and creativity that goes into these costumes!
