Primary School is open to qualifying students age 6 (by September 1st) through age 11 (on September 1st). Primary classes are divided into subject/skill areas and are leveled. Students are further placed into these leveled classes according to individual skill sets. We call this a tailor-fit program which was uniquely designed under the supervision of our Curriculum Coordinator to meet the specific needs of the SIS student body.

New Subjects:
Global Perspectives
This programme develops the skills of research, analysis, evaluation, reflection, collaboration and communication. It strengthens the links across English as a second language, mathematics, science and ICT starters.
Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is now part of the educational experience worldwide and regarded as a new ‘literacy’ alongside reading, writing and numeracy. Learners will develop key ICT skills in a range of applications including computer programming, word processing, digital graphics, databases, spreadsheets, email, presentations, video/animation, the internet and web authoring. They will also consider wider issues such as eSafety and the adaptation of their work to suit their audience.
