Dear Parents,

We want to tell you how much we appreciate your support of the school and of your children during this time. It has been very difficult on many levels not being able to have the students on campus; however, we trust our Lao government and what’s being allowed/not allowed during this time of the Covid pandemic. All countries around the world are experiencing the same stresses, but we hope that everyone can continue to stay safe and make good choices for their families and communities.

We want to let you know that despite the unknown and receiving the proposals that are not yet official announcements, we continue to make plans for the students and the school. There have been many changes, but that is the current nature of many around the world and we ask for your continued patience and support.

As of today, May 11, 2020, SIS is planning on starting for P5 on May 18^th. We are still waiting for an official announcement for the proposed June 2, 2020 date for the rest of the Primary and Middle School classes, as well as officially closing Kindergarten for this year.

As it stands, the following is the current plan for the English program at SIS:

June 2, 2020: Primary – MS classes began at SIS on a rotation schedule.

June 2 – 5: Discoverers final assessments for the year. (This will ONLY be to help guide us better as they will be in Primary for the next school year – do not be concerned, we want to know their current standing, but this will not affect their promotion to Primary.)

June 15 – 19: Primary & MS Review & Final Assessments

June 22 – 26: Wrap-up of English Program for the 2019-2020 year!

June 29 – 30: Report Cards issued

We are also making special plans for the Discoverers, Adventurers, and MS graduating classes! We’ll keep you posted as to the upcoming plans!

Also, please make note that we have just started a separate Facebook page just for the Kindergarten! Make sure to check it out and like it to keep track of all the upcoming videos!

ກ່ອນອື່ນໂຮງຮຽນນານາຊາດ ຊາຣອນ, ຂໍກ່າວຄໍາຂອບໃຈແລະສະແດງຄວາມຮູ້ບຸນຄຸນຕໍ່ທ່ານຜູ້ປົກຄອງທີ່ໃຫ້ການຮ່ວມມືຊ່ວຍເຫຼືອລູກໆຂອງທ່ານທາງດ້ານການສຶກສາ ແລະຫຼາຍໆດ້ານໃນຊ່ວງເວລາທີ່ຫຍຸ້ງຍາກເຊັ່ນນີ້. ປະຈຸບັນນີ້ຕາມທີ່ຮູ້ກັນແລ້ວວ່າ ເປັນການຍາກຫຼາຍທີ່ຈະເປີດຫ້ອງຮຽນໃຫ້ນັກຮຽນເຂົ້າມາຮຽນໜັງສືພ້ອມກັນໃນທຸກໆຊັ້ນຮຽນ; ແຕ່ເຖິງຢ່າງໃດກໍ່ຕາມ ພວກເຮົາກໍ່ເຊື່ອໜັ້ນ ແລະໄວ້ວາງໃຈຕໍ່ການນຳຂອງລັດຖະບານເຮົາ ແລະໜ່ວຍງານຄວມຄຸມພະຍາດທີ່ໄດ້ອະນຸຍາດ ແລະບໍ່ໄດ້ອະນຸຍາດບາງພາກສ່ວນໃນຊ່ວງໄລຍະທີ່ຍັງມີການຄວມຄຸມການແຜ່ລະບາດຂອງພະຍາດໄວຣັດໂຄວິດນີ້. ໃນປະຈຸບັນນີ້ ມີຫຼາຍໆປະເທດທົ່ວໂລກທີ່ປະສົບກັບບັນຫາທີ່ຫຍຸ້ງຍາກ ແລະ ກົດດັນຫຼາຍຢ່າງ, ແຕ່ວ່າ ພວກເຮົາກໍ່ປາດຖະໜາໃຫ້ເພື່ອນມະນຸດທຸກໆຄົນທີ່ຈະປອດໄພ ເພື່ອຄອບຄົວ ແລະສັງຄົມ.

ໂຮງຮຽນ ນານາຊາດຊາຣອນຂໍແຈ້ງໃຫ້ທ່ານຊາບ ແມ້ວ່າຈະຍັງບໍ່ຈະແຈ້ງຫຼືເປັນການແຈ້ງການທີ່ເປັນເອກະພາບຈາກຫ້ອງການລັດຖະບານ, ພວກເຮົາ ບັນດາຄູສອນກໍ່ຍັງສືບຕໍ່ວາງແຜນການຮຽນ-ການສອນເພື່ອນັກຮຽນແລະໂຮງຮຽນ ເຊິ່ງມີຫຼາຍຢ່າງທີ່ມີການປ່ຽນແປງ ແຕ່ວ່າກໍ່ເປັນຊ່ວງໄລຍະທີ່ຈໍາເປັນ ຂອງທຸກປະເທດໃນທົ່ວໂລກ. ດັ່ງນັ້ນ ພວກເຮົາຂໍໃຫ້ທ່ານສືບຕໍ່ຊ່ວຍຕິດຕາມ ແລະ ອົດທົນ, ໃຫ້ກໍາລັງໃຈລູກໆ ພ້ອມໃຫ້ຄວາມຮ່ວມມືໃນການຊ່ວຍນັກຮຽນ ເພື່ອໃຫ້ເຮົາຜ່ານວິກິດນີ້ໄປນໍາກັນ ແລະຫວັງຢ່າງຍິ່ງວ່າຈະໃຫ້ກັບມາເປັນປົກກະຕິໃນບໍ່ຊ້າ.

ເຊັ່ນດຽວກັນ ວັນສຸກ ວັນທີ11 ພຶດສະພາ, ໂຮງຮຽນຂອງພວກເຮົາກໍ່ກໍາລັງກະກຽມຫ້ອງຮຽນ, ອຸປະກອນ ແລະອື່ນໆອີກຫລາຍຢ່າງ ເພື່ອຕ້ອນຮັບນ້ອງນັກຮຽນກັບຄືນເຂົ້າມາຮຽນປົກກະຕິ ສໍາລັບຊັ້ນປະຖົມ ປີທີ5 (ພາກພາສາອັງກິດ ແລະ ພາກພາສາລາວ).

ກະລຸນາຕິດຕາມລາຍລະອຽດສໍາລັບແຜນການຮຽນ-ການສອນຂອງສົກຮຽນ 2019-2020ດັ່ງລຸ່ມນີ້:

• ວັນອັງຄານ ວັນທີ2 ເດືອນມິຖຸນາ: ຫ້ອງຮຽນຊັ້ນປະຖົມ ແລະ ມັດທະຍົມທຸກຫ້ອງຮຽນຈະເລີ່ມເປີດຮຽນເປັນປົກກະຕິຕາມການໝູນວຽນຂອງແຕ່ລະພາກສ່ວນ.
• ວັນອັງຄານ-ວັນສຸກ ວັນທີ2-5 ເດືອນມິຖຸນາ: ຫ້ອງຮຽນຊັ້ນອະນຸບານ ດີດສໂຄເວີ້ ຈະມີສອບເສັງທ້າຍປີຮຽນ. ເພື່ອເປັນການວັດລະດັບຄວາມພ້ອມຂອງນັກຮຽນທີ່ຈະກຽມເຂົ້າຮຽນໃນຊັ້ນປະຖົມໃນສົກຮຽນທີ່ກຳລັງຈະມາເຖິງນີ້- ແຕ່ວ່າທ່ານບໍ່ຕ້ອງກັງວົນ ເພາະນີ້ຈະເປັນການວັດລະດັບແລະບອກເຖິງລະດັບການຮຽນຂອງນັກຮຽນເທົ່ານັ້ນ. ເພື່ອຈະບໍ່ມີຜົນກະທົບໃນການກະກຽມເຂົ້າຮຽນໃນຊັ້ນປະຖົມ.
• ວັນຈັນ-ວັນສຸກ ວັນທີ15-19 ເດືອນມິຖຸນາ: ນັກຮຽນຊັ້ນປະຖົມ ແລະ ມັດທະຍົມຈະໄດ້ທວນຄືນບົດຮຽນ ແລະກະກຽມເພື່ອສອບເສັງທ້າຍປີ.
• ວັນຈັນ-ວັນສຸກ ວັນທີ22-26 ເດືອນມິຖຸນາ: ສະຫຼຸບພາກຮຽນສຸດທ້າຍຂອງສົກຮຽນ 2019-2020!
• ວັນຈັນ-ວັນອັງຄານ ວັນທີ29-30 ເດືອນມິຖຸນາ: ຮັບໃບຄະແນນຕິດຕາມການຮຽນ ສໍາລັບສົກຮຽນ2019-2020.

ນອກຈາກນັ້ນ, ພວກເຮົາກໍ່ໄດ້ມີແຜນການພິເສດໃຫ້ກັບຫ້ອງຮຽນທີ່ຈະຈົບຊັ້ນເຊັ່ນວ່າ: ອະນຸບານ Discoverers, ຫ້ອງຮຽນປະຖົມ Adventures  ແລະຫ້ອງຮຽນຊັ້ນມັດທະຍົມ! ພວກເຮົາຈະຍັງສືບຕໍ່ໃນການແຈ້ງຂ່າວອັບເດດໃຫ້ທ່ານຊາບໃນເພດສຂອງໂຮງຮຽນ!
